Nikon D800 MB-D12 Multi Battery
The Nikon MB-D12 is an excellent accessory for the Nikon D810. At first it may seem to add a little bulk but the more it was used the more comfortable it feels. Having the shutter button and adjustment wheels while in portrait mode is famtastic and just feels right. The more expensive dslrs such as the D4 and D5 already have this built in, and the D810 feels alward without it now.

This is a battery pack so lets talk battery life. You jave several options here. You can add am additional D810 battery and double your life. You may also use the d5's larger battery, however you will need a seperate charger for that battery. Finally the MB-D12 comes with the option to use AA batteries instead of the camera batteries. Some say why bother with AA batteries. This comes in very handy if you are shooting a wedding or are not near a charger and you are out of battery life.
